Giro Junkie's "Taxi For Dave" out 30th September 2011
Last month Barney Smith went to Tremelo Studios in Silverdale to record some violin for Giro Junkie's debut album, "Taxi For Dave", which is due for release on the 30th September 2011, at a special launch event at The Full Moon, Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Barney played on two tracks, "God Loves A Smuggler" and "Playtime's Over", and has been heard praising the fantastic microphone he used at Tremelo Studios. The only down side now is that he "needs" (wants!) to fork out lots of money for one similar!!
Sareni's "Echoes" Released!!!
Barney Smith has been working with Indian vocal group Sareni on their debut single "Echoes", which was released earlier this week. Available to download NOW from iTunes or Amazon, it features vocals recorded in the Yorkshire Dales by group members Raina Sood, Rajeshvari Gor and Hemmy Sokhi-Ranu, and piano by Barney Smith, recorded here at Greenway Studios.
Footloose in London finished!!!
Barnaby has finished the music for the next DVD in the Footloose series, "Footloose in London". More details of this and other Grindelwald releases to be appearing here soon!!!
